Baiada respects and is committed to protecting your privacy. This document sets out our policies on handling personal information.
Wherever we collect, hold, use, disclose or otherwise deal with personal information that you have provided to us either in person, over the phone, in documentation, when using our web site or via email, we will be regulated by the Australian Privacy Principles (APP) contained within the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as amended to include the Privacy Amendment Act 2012 (Cth) (Privacy Act).
We may collect information such as:
business contact details (names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, fax numbers), home addresses and phone numbers, mobile phone numbers, driver’s licence details, bank account details, other financial information from financial institutions, information from regulatory bodies, providers of credit information and trade referees;
names and contact details of persons who contact Baiada with requests for information and/or queries, including through Baiada’s website;
information about applicants for employment with Baiada including health information to assess those applications for employment; and information about Baiada’s employees and contractors relevant to their employment or contract with Baiada.
We collect this information to enable us to perform our functions and activities, including:
to administer Baiada’s dealings and potential dealings with suppliers of products and services;
to supply products and services to our customers;
to process customer orders;
to process orders on behalf of our customers (fulfilment services) for their customers;
to assess our customers' credit worthiness;
to contact individuals for direct marketing or other promotional purposes; and
to administer Baiada’s payroll and other dealings with our employees and contractors whom provide services which include labour.
If we do not collect this personal information from you, we may not be able to provide you with the products, services or assistance that you request.
If we use your personal information for the purposes of direct marketing, we will give you the opportunity to request that your information not be used for future direct marketing.
Such third parties may include:
Directors, Partners or authorised persons in your employ;
Veda Advantage or any other credit reporting body;
Baiada may disclose personal information to third parties including:
to regulatory bodies;
to our related bodies corporate;
to credit reporting bodies (see our Credit Reporting Policy for more information) by clicking here;
to contractors engaged to provide services in connection with the purposes mentioned above;
to other service providers such as printers and mailing houses in connection with the purposes mentioned above;
where you have otherwise consented to the use or disclosure; and
if it is otherwise permitted or required by the Privacy Act or any other law.
You should contact us (contact details below) if you would like to request details of the personal information that Baiada may hold about you. Provided Baiada deems it reasonable and practical to do so, we will provide the information to you in the manner you request within 30 days of receiving your request. The company may charge a fee for providing this service, but we will inform you of that at the time you make the request.
Baiada will take reasonable steps to ensure the personal information we collect, use or disclose is as accurate, complete and up to date as possible. We need your help to do that. If you think that the information we hold about you is inaccurate please contact us (contact details below) and we will take reasonable steps to ensure that it is corrected.
You may lodge a complaint with us if you believe we have breached any part of the APP by contacting us as per the contact details below. We will investigate the nature of your complaint and notify you within 30 days of our findings. If you believe we have not dealt with your complaint in an appropriate manner you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Security of personal information is important to us and we take all reasonable precautions to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure as well as to destroy or permanently de- identify personal information if it is no longer needed for any purpose.
Nevertheless, the internet is not a secure environment. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure. We cannot warrant the security, integrity or privacy of personal information submitted to these web sites www.baiada.com.au, www.steggles.com.au, www.freerangechicken.com.au, www.rainbowvalleyturkeys.com.au or the Steggles or Lilydale social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram). If you use the internet to send us any information, including your email address, it is sent at your own risk.

WHO CAN ENTER?
To be eligible to enter you must:
Reside in Australia; and
Be aged 18 years and over.
Employees of Baiada Poultry Pty Ltd (or any of its related entities) (Steggles), their immediate families and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
The competition period commences at 10:00 AEST on 04/08/19 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 22/08/19 (competition period), and Steggles reserves the right to extend the competition end date at any time (subject to regulatory approval, if required).
To enter the competition, the entrant must provide their full name, phone number, email address, postcode, where required on the competition landing page https://www.steggles.com.au/womeninleague during the competition period and tell us in 25 words or less why their female nominee deserves to win ‘some quality time with family and friends’.
This is the only method of entry into the competition. No other methods of entry, such as Facebook posts, Messenger or email messages, will be accepted.
The competition may be advertised on the Sydney Roosters website, Sydney Roosters Facebook page, Steggles Facebook page, via Steggles Email, and will include a link or instructions to the competition landing page.
No late entries will be accepted.
A limit of one entry to the competition per person applies.
Competition entry is free.
SELECTION OF WINNERS
This competition is not a game of chance. Each entry will be judged by a panel of judges selected by Steggles.
Entries will be judged on the information provided in the written entry submission. The judges will evaluate all entries fairly and impartially according to competition criteria, which include originality of idea, creativity and relevance to competition theme.
10 (ten) winners will be determined by the judges. Steggles reserves the right to make a lesser number of or no awards if not satisfied with the standard or quality of entries received. Judging will take place from 11:00am AEST at Greenroom Digital, 343 Ferrars Street, South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 3205 on 26/08/19
The winners will be notified by telephone and/or email on the day of the judges’ final decision.
The decision of the judges will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the process or outcome of the competition.
The names of the winners will be published on the website https://www.steggles.com.au/womeninleague on 26/08/19
If one or more of the winners does not respond within 3 months of being notified by Greenroom Digital that they have won the competition, one or more of the winners are not readily identified and reasonable efforts have been made by Greenroom Digital to identify those winners were unsuccessful, they will automatically forfeit their prize and Greenroom Digital reserves the right to select another winner or winners through a second chance judging process.
If necessary, the awarding of unclaimed prizes will be held on 02/11/19 at the same time and place as the first judging round. The entries determined by the judges as being the next eligible winners from the remaining entries, as assessed against the judging criteria, will win any unclaimed prizes.The second round winners will be notified by telephone and/or email on the day of the judges’ final decision.
The results of any second or subsequent judging round will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the process or outcome.
PROMOTION AND MARKETING
By entering the competition, the winners agree to participate in such promotional activity and material as Steggles may require without remuneration.
The winners also consent to the use and publication of their name, location, image, voice, likeness and entry submission by Steggles in any marketing material or medium, for the purpose of promoting the competition or for Steggles’ general promotional purposes, without any further reference or payment to the winners.
The winners will receive a Steggles Quality Time Roast pack valued at $200. This pack will consist of the following:
2 x Steggles Family Roast chickens
A Sydney Roosters merchandise pack (hat, scarf, football)
A Family Pass to a Sydney Roosters game (Family Pass consists of 2 adult tickets + 2 children’s tickets, or 1 adult ticket + 3 children’s tickets)
Total of 10 prizes available
Total prize pool (inc GST): $2,000
No part of a prize is exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prize.
If the prize is not available for any reason, Steggles reserves the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value if the winners agree in writing and subject to any written directions from any applicable regulatory authority. If the winners do not agree despite reasonable attempts by Steggles to reach an agreement and the prize is not available due to circumstances beyond Steggles’ control, Steggles may substitute the prize with another item or items determined by Steggles to be of equal or higher value.
Steggles will take reasonable steps to distribute the prize to the winners within 28 days of the announcement of the winners.
Please read these competition terms and conditions carefully. If you enter the competition, Steggles will assume that you have read these terms and conditions and that you agree to them.
Any entrant who submits an entry or claim for the prize that is false or is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who tampers with the competition process in any way, will be automatically disqualified. Steggles also reserves the right to disqualify from entry into the competition entries which, in the opinion of Steggles, are invalid, illegible, incomprehensible, inaccurate, misleading, fraudulent, incomplete, irrelevant, inappropriate or offensive.
Steggles reserves the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason, subject to regulatory approval (if required) and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable on the competition landing page. It is the entrant's responsibility to regularly check the competition landing page for any amendments. Any amendments will be applied and interpreted at the sole discretion of Steggles.
If the competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond Steggles’ control, Steggles may cancel or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries, or recommence the competition at another time under the same conditions, to the extent permitted by law.
Steggles does not accept responsibility for any incorrect or inaccurate information or other errors (whether technical or otherwise) that may occur in the course of conducting this competition. Steggles accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
Steggles reserves the right, at any time, to independently verify the validity of any entry or claim for the prize (including, without limitation, identity and other personal details of the entrant), and to reject that entry or claim if it cannot be verified to Steggles’ satisfaction.
To the extent permitted by law, Steggles shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the conduct of the competition or the redemption or use of the prize (including but not limited to direct loss) including:
technical or telecommunications problems (such as security breaches, technical website malfunctions or glitches); or
acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of Steggles’ servants or agents involved in the conduct of this competition who are acting outside their authority as agent of Steggles.
By entering this competition, each entrant releases Steggles, its directors, officers, employees and agents from, and indemnifies each of them against, any and all liability or any loss, damage or injury of any kind arising from or in connection with this competition or the prize.
All entries become the property of Steggles.
Steggles collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to subsidiary and related companies, third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and any company with whom we are running the competition.
By participating in this competition, entrants release and hold harmless Facebook from any and all liability associated with this competition, to the extent permitted by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law).
Steggles and entrants acknowledge that this competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
Entrants acknowledge that they are providing information to Steggles and not to Facebook.
Steggles is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax.Independent financial advice should be sought.
The laws of Victoria apply to this competition. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of Victoria.
