Adina x Hockey Australia “WIN 5 Nights” Competition (“Competition”) Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”)
Promoter
This competition is being run by Hockey Australia Limited (ABN 26 546 955 455) of 10 Brens Drive, Parkville VIC 3052 (‘Promoter’).
The Prize Supplier is Toga Hotel Management Holdings Pty Limited trading as Adina Hotels (ABN 82 162 986 352) of Level 5, 45 Jones Street, Ultimo, NSW Australia 2007 (‘Prize Supplier’).

Who can enter?
To be eligible to enter, you must:
Reside* in Australia AND
be over 18 years of age
Employees of Hockey Australia, Adina Hotels, their immediate families** and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
*Reside means to have a permanent home in Australia for the benefit of tax purposes.
**Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin.
How to enter
The competition period commences at 9:00am AEDT on 05/12/2024 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 19/12/2024 (competition period), and Hockey Australia reserves the right to extend the competition end date at any time (subject to regulatory approval, if required).
To enter, an Eligible entrant must, during the Promotion period:
(a) Complete the online Promotion entry form found at https://hockey-adina.partnership-hub.com/ and provide the Promoter with First Name / Last Name / Email Address / Mobile Number / Postcode /responses to survey questions.
(b) accept the Terms and Conditions and submit the online entry form.
The competition will be advertised on Hockey Australia Social Media Pages and Hockey Australia Email Database and will include a link or instructions to the competition landing page.
No late entries will be accepted.
There is a limit of one entry per person per entry method.
Selection of Winners
1 (one) major winner will be chosen by random draw which will take place from:
· 10:00 AM AEDT on 9th January 2025
at Greenroom Digital, 49-51 Stead Street, South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 3205.
The winner will be notified by email and telephone on 10 January 2025 by a Hockey Australia representative.
The results of the draw will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw. This is a game of chance.
The winners will be published on the website at https://hockey-adina.partnership-hub.com/ from 10/1/2025.
Unclaimed prize
If the winner does not claim the prize by 10:00 AM 30 January 2025, or are not readily identified and reasonable efforts have been made by Hockey Australia to identify those winners were unsuccessful, they will automatically forfeit their prize and Greenroom Digital reserves the right to randomly draw an unclaimed prize winner.
If necessary, an unclaimed prize winner will be randomly drawn at 11:00 AM AEDT, at the same place as the original winner was selected on 30 January 2025. The unclaimed prize winner will be notified by email and telephone on the day of the draw.
The results of any unclaimed prize will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the new winner or winners.
The unclaimed prize winner will be published on the website https://hockey-adina.partnership-hub.com/ from 30 January 2025.
Promotion and marketing
By entering the competition, the winners agree to participate in such promotional activity and material as Hockey Australia may require without remuneration.
The winners also consent to the use and publication of their names and any other details provided by the winners in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winners.
Prize
One (1) major prize consisting of:
5 x night stay in a 2-bedroom apartment at any Adina Hotel in Australia, valued up to $5,500 AUD.
Travel is not included in this prize, and winning entrants will be required to make their own travel arrangements to redeem their prize.
Total prize pool is AUD $5,500 excl. GST as of the publishing date of these terms and conditions.
No part of a prize is exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prize.
If the prizes are not available for any reason, Hockey Australia reserves the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value if the winners agree in writing and are subject to any written directions from any applicable regulatory authority. If the winners do not agree despite reasonable attempts by Hockey Australia to reach an agreement and the prize is not available due to circumstances beyond Hockey Australia's control, Hockey Australia may substitute the prize with another item or items determined by Hockey Australia to be of equal or higher value.
General
Please read these competition terms and conditions carefully. If you enter the competition, we will assume that you have read these terms and conditions and that you agree to them.
1. Hockey Australia reserves the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason, subject to regulatory approvaland will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable on the landing page at Hockey Australia. It is the entrant's responsibility to regularly check the competition landing page for any amendments. Any amendments will be applied and interpreted at the sole discretion of Hockey Australia.
2. If the competition is not capable of running as planned including by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond Hockey Australia’s control, Hockey Australia may cancel or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected competition attempts, to the extent permitted by law.
3. To the extent permitted by law, Hockey Australia shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the conduct of the competition or the competition or use of the prize (including but not limited to direct loss) including:
a) Technical or telecommunications problems (such as security breaches, technical website malfunctions or glitches); or
b) Acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of Hockey Australia’s servants or agents involved in the conduct of this competition who are acting outside their authority as agent of Hockey Australia.
5. Please read the Hockey Australia privacy policy available on the Hockey Australia website at https://www.hockey.org.au/integrity/ which tells you how we use any personal information we may collect about you by entering a competition.
6. Hockey Australia collects personal information to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to subsidiary and related companies, third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and any company with whom we are running the competition.
7. Hockey Australia is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax. Independent financial advice should be sought.
8. The laws of Victoria apply to this competition. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of Victoria.
