WHO CAN ENTER?

Entrants must be over 18 years of age at the date of entering the competition.

Employees of Lending Association and Parramatta Eels, their immediate families or registered travel companions and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter. Eligibility is open to New South Wales residents only.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter the competition, you must submit an online entry by providing your first name, last name, email address, mobile, postcode, age range and completing a survey on the competition landing page at https://www.parraeels.com.au/competitions/lending-association-prize4tries/ during the competition period.

To be eligible to win the $10,000 cash prize, the entrant must complete the survey referenced on the competition landing page at https://www.parraeels.com.au/competitions/lending-association-prize4tries/.  

The competition period commences at 10:00am AEDT on 2 March 2023 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 13 August 2023.

No late entries will be accepted.

A limit of one (1) entry to the competition per person.

SELECTION OF WINNER

One (1) winner will be drawn at random by Lending Association at Shop 1/426 Church St, Parramatta NSW 2150 on Monday 2 October at 11:00am.

The winners will be notified by email and telephone on the day of the draw.

The results of the draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw. This is a game of chance.

SECOND CHANCE DRAW

If the winners do not respond to Lending Association or Parramatta Eels within seven (7) days of being notified that they have won the competition, that winner is not readily identified, and reasonable efforts have been made by Lending Association and Parramatta Eels to identify the winner(s) were unsuccessful, they will automatically forfeit their prize and Lending Association and the Parramatta Eels reserve the right to select another winner or winners through a second chance draw.

If necessary, a second chance draw will be held seven (7) days following the first draw at the same time and place as the first draw in order to nominate an alternative winner(s) for the unclaimed prize. The second chance draw winner(s) will be notified by email and telephone on the day of the draw.

The results of any second chance draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw.

PROMOTION AND MARKETING

By entering the competition, the winners agree to participate in such promotional activity and material as Lending Association and Parramatta Eels may require without remuneration.

By entering this competition, eligible entrant's consent that the Lending Association may contact them for future marketing and material purposes without payment. 

The winners also give consent to the use and publication of their name and any other details provided by the winners in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winners.

PRIZE

The major prize is $10,000 ex GST provided by Lending Association.

The prize will not be transferable to another person.

No part of a prize is exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prize.

Please read these competition rules carefully. If you enter one of our competitions, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them.

Parramatta Eels and Lending Association reserves the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason subject to regulatory approval (if required) and will notify participants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable on the competition landing page at https://www.parraeels.com.au/competitions/lending-association-prize4tries/

It is the participant's responsibility to regularly check the competition landing page for any amendments. Any amendments will be applied and interpreted at the sole discretion of Parramatta Eels and Lending Association.

Parramatta Eels and Lending Association do not accept responsibility for any entries that are delayed or which are not received for any reason and assumes no responsibility for any inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury in connection with the conduct of the competition whether as a result of:

technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, technical website malfunctions or glitches; or

acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of Lending Association or Parramatta Eels servants or agents involved in the conduct of this competition who are acting outside their authority as agent of Lending Association or Parramatta Eels.

Lending Association collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to subsidiary and related companies, third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and any company with whom we are running the competition.

By participating in this competition, entrants thereby release and hold harmless Facebook and Instagram from any and all liability associated with this competition, to the extent permitted by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).

The promoters and entrants acknowledge that this competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram.

Entrants acknowledge that they are providing information to Lending Association and Parramatta Eels and not to Facebook or Instagram.

The promoters are not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax. Independent financial advice should be sought.

The laws of Australia apply to this competition. Competition participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of Australia.

MANNER OF RESOLVING DISPUTES

The parties shall first attempt to resolve any claim, cause of action or dispute ("claim") arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions, in an amicable manner by mediation with a mutually acceptable mediator based in Sydney, Australia prior to commencing any legal action. The laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia will govern these terms and conditions, as well as any claim that might arise between you and us, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of New South Wales, Australia for the purpose of litigating all such claims.

Lending Association will use reasonable endeavours to mediate any disputes concerning the services, excluding disputes arising with the relevant regulatory bodies. If you raise a dispute as to the quality of the services, then we may contact you to get further information and carry out investigation and notify you about the outcome of the investigation.
