Penrith Panthers Win a Weekend Away in Canberra
WHO CAN ENTER?
Entrants who are under 18 years of age at the date of entering the competition must have permission from their parent or legal guardian to enter.
Employees of Hertz and Penrith District Rugby League Club, their immediate families or registered travel companions and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter the competition, you must submit an online entry by providing your first name, last name and email address where required on the competition landing page at https://www.penrithpanthers.com.au/news/2022/06/29/win-a-weekend-away-in-canberra during the competition period.
An email advertising the competition will also be sent to Hertz customers and Penrith District Rugby League Club members and will include a link to the competition landing page.
The competition period commences at 00.01 AEDT on Wedneday 29 June 2022 and ends at 23.59 AEDT on Friday 8 July 2022.
No late entries will be accepted.
A limit of one entry to the competition per person applies.
SELECTION OF WINNER
One (1) winner will be chosen by a random draw which will take place on Monday 11 July by a Penrith District Rugby League Club representative.
The winners will be notified by email and telephone on the day of the draw.
The results of the draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw. This is a game of chance.
SECOND CHANCE DRAW
If the winners do not respond to Penrith Panthers or Hertz within 7 days of being notified that they have won the competition, that winner is not readily identified, and reasonable efforts have been made by Penrith Panthers or Hertz to identify the winner(s) were unsuccessful, they will automatically forfeit their prize and Hertz reserves the right to select another winner or winners through a second chance draw.
If necessary, a second chance draw will be held on Tuesday 19 July at the same time and place as the first draw in order to nominate an alternative winner(s) for any unclaimed prizes. The second chance draw winner(s) will be notified by email and telephone on the day of the draw.
The results of any second chance draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw.
PROMOTION AND MARKETING
By entering the competition, the winners agree to participate in such promotional activity and material as Hertz may require without remuneration.
The winners also give consent to the use and publication of their name and any other details provided by the winners in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winners.
PRIZE
The prize includes a Hertz Car Hire selected from the Prestige range, one night accommodation at Sebel Canberra Civic and two Legends Club tickets to the Panthers v Raiders fixture at GIO Stadium on Saturday 6 August. The prize is valued at $937 in total (as at the publishing date of these terms and conditions)
The prizes does not include any additional costs associated with redeeming the prize such as travel, meals, spending money or taxes.
The prize will not be transferable to another person.
No part of a prize is exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prize.
If the prize(s) is not available for any reason, Hertz reserves the right to substitute the prize(s) with another item of equal or greater value if the winner(s) agrees in writing and subject to any written directions from any applicable regulatory authority. If the winner(s) do not agree despite reasonable attempts by Hertz to reach an agreement and the prize is not available due to circumstances beyond Hertz's control, Hertz may substitute the prize with another item or items determined by Hertz to be of equal or higher value.
Hertz will take reasonable steps to distribute the prize to the winners before Monday 1 August 2022

It is the participant's responsibility to regularly check the competition landing page for any amendments. Any amendments will be applied and interpreted at the sole discretion of Hertz.
Hertz does not accept responsibility for any entries that are delayed or which are not received for any reason and assumes no responsibility for any inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury in connection with the conduct of the competition whether as a result of:
technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, technical website malfunctions or glitches; or
acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of Hertz's servants or agents involved in the conduct of this competition.
