CADBURY A CATCH & A HALF – GUIDELINES AND T&Cs
PARTNERSHIP DETAILS: CADBURY & HOBART HURRICANES FOUNDATION
As part of the CADBURY and Hobart Hurricanes longstanding partnership, CADBURY will be making donations to the Hobart Hurricanes Foundation, facilitated by the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) to support local Tasmanian cricket clubs.
The donations are part of the CADBURY A Catch and a Half program running through the BBL|11 season, whereby during the first four games at Blundstone Arena CADBURY will donate $500 towards supporting Tasmanian grassroots cricket clubs for every catch taken by a Hobart Hurricanes player.
The donations are being used to fund the management and distribution of individual grants to selected grassroots cricket clubs in Tasmania that can be spent to support the club. Items that the funds can be used towards include uniforms, equipment, club house repairs or maintenance or equipment to support the club ongoing. Any registered cricket clubs or associations across Tasmania, playing an in an official sporting competition recognised by Cricket Tasmania can apply. Clubs and associations will be able to submit online grant applications via the Hobart Hurricanes website from Wednesday 10th November.

DONATION DETAILS
The total maximum value being donated as part of the CADBURY A Catch and a Half program will be $20,000. This is based off the maximum amount catches being taken in each of the four nominated home games at Blundstone Arena. Catches taken that do not result in a wicket (no ball, free hit etc) or catches taken during a super over will not be counted towards the total donation tally.
The total minimum value guaranteed to be donated as part of the CADBURY A Catch and a Half program will be $8,000, as agreed to by CADBURY.
Funds will be donated to the Hobart Hurricanes Foundation, which will administrate the distribution of funds to successful applicants. Hobart Hurricanes Foundation will receive and, with nominated representatives from Cadbury, assess each application.

ELIGIBILTY
Applications must meet the following criteria:
Be a registered cricket club or association within Tasmania
Have at least one registered team playing for their club or in their association
Be participating in an official competition affiliated with Cricket Tasmania
Clubs and associations must be properly constituted and registered as an incorporated body
Be using the funds to cover the actual cost of:
Purchase of uniforms for one of more teams representing their club or association
The redesign of the club’s training or competition uniform
Purchase of equipment for one or more teams representing their club or association
Club room maintenance or redevelopment
Changeroom maintenance or redevelopment
Equipment to support club financially on an ongoing basis, i.e. barbeque and barbeque equipment, fridge, coffee machine
any other use as approved in writing by Hobart Hurricanes Foundation and CADBURY
SUBMITTING
Applications must adhere to the following steps as part of the application process:
Applications must use the official online application form via the Hobart Hurricanes website at https://www.hobarthurricanes.com.au/cadbury-catch-win
Incomplete applications will be deemed ineligible
All grant funding must be expended to pay for the actual cost of the activity that was applied for as part of the application process
Multiple applications may be submitted on behalf on the one Club; however, each Club will only be eligible to receive maximum of one (1) grant
Applications must be received by Hobart Hurricanes Foundation no later than 5pm (AEDT), Wednesday December 8th, 2021.

ACKNOWLEDGING HOBART HURRICANES FOUNDATION AND CADBURY’S SUPPORT AND PROMOTING SUCCESS
We ask that successful applicants acknowledge the support of Hobart Hurricanes Foundation and CADBURY through the provision of the CADBURY A Catch and a Half program. Promotional guidelines form part of the terms and conditions and include the requirement that all activities acknowledge CADBURY support through logo presentation on any activity-related publications, media releases and promotional material. Successful applicants may be asked to contribute information on activity outcomes for use in program evaluation reviews, marketing materials, or used in future promotion of the A Catch and a Half program. Requests of this nature will be made on a case by case basis.
APPLICATION TIMELINE
Opening of the Club Applications: 12th November 2021
Applications Close: 5pm (AEDT) 8th December 2021
Successful Applicants Announced: week commencing 13th December 2021
Payments of Grants: 17th January 2022 onwards
Post Program Check In: February 2022 onwards
APPLICANT ASSESSMENT
Eligible applications will be assessed based on responses provided in the application form. Four (4) clubs will be selected as part of the program, each being represented at one of the selected four (4) home games played at Blundstone Arena in the 2021/22 Big Bash Season, as outlined in the Eligible Games.
It is expected that more applications will be received than can be funded. All applicants will receive written notification of the outcome of the assessment process. A selection panel will include representatives from Hobart Hurricanes, CADBURY and MKTG Australia. The panel will assess all applications and determine the successful applicants.
APPLICATION PROCESS
To apply for the CADBURY A Catch and a Half program, you need to submit your application through the Hobart Hurricanes Application portal located at https://www.hobarthurricanes.com.au/cadbury-catch-win
Preparing your application
To complete an application, you will need:
Your personal/contact details including email address and phone number
Name of the team, club and/or association you are applying on behalf of
Location details or your club
Name of the league or competition your club plays in
Your club ABN or Incorporated Association Registration Number
Details of an additional contact (e.g. President, treasurer, secretary, or coach) within your club/team to confirm your application
Funding request detail
Applicants must be over 18 years of age
Agree to sign off on the Guidelines and Terms & Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Hobart Hurricanes Foundation may accept or reject any application for the CADBURY A Catch and a Half program (Program) grant in its absolute discretion. Hobart Hurricanes Foundation, in conjunction with CADBURY, may determine in its discretion the allocation of grants to successful recipients and the amount of grant funding allocated to each applicant – which may be less than the amount requested in the submission.
To avoid disappointment, Hobart Hurricanes Foundation and CADBURY strongly encourages early submission of Applications. Hobart Hurricanes Foundation reserves the right to close applications before the stated closing date if it deems the program to be oversubscribed.
If Hobart Hurricanes Foundation decides to award a grant (Grant) to the Applicant, the Grant will be made subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Applicants must be incorporated and include their Australian Business Number (ABN) or Incorporated Association Registration Number in their application.
Hobart Hurricanes Foundation will make a one-off payment, exclusive of GST, to the successful Applicants.
The Applicant must meet all eligibility criteria (as set out in the application form and in the Guidelines) for application and receipt of the grant and must promptly notify Hobart Hurricanes Foundation if they no longer fulfil all eligibility criteria.
The Applicant must only use the grant towards associated costs of; new equipment, uniform, club house maintenance, club equipment or other costs as expressly approved by Hobart Hurricanes Foundation and CADBURY.
Successful Applicants will be subject to a check in up to three months after the one-off grant payment is made to ensure the funds have been used as per their application. Hobart Hurricanes Foundation or its authorised representatives may also request that successful Applicants provide access to records for the purpose of auditing the use of the Grant.
The Applicant warrants that any new uniform will not contravene any rules of your local governing association, state/national association or international federation and the Applicant has received approval for the team uniform from the relevant governing body.
Only one application may be made per Applicant. Without limitation to any other rights of Hobart Hurricanes Foundation, if Hobart Hurricanes Foundation reasonably believes, at any time following the award of the Grant, that the Applicant:
has provided false or misleading information in the application
has not used funds as specified in their application
has otherwise breached any of its obligations set out in these Terms and Conditions, then Hobart Hurricanes Foundation may, by written notice, require the Applicant to repay Hobart Hurricanes Foundation, at Hobart Hurricanes Foundation’s absolute discretion, all or part of the Grant. The amount notified must be repaid within 30 days of any such notice. In addition, Hobart Hurricanes Foundation may decline any future grant application for the Program, or any other grant program managed, operated, facilitated, or funded by Hobart Hurricanes Foundation submitted by the Applicant.
As outlined in the application guidelines, before or after the award of the Grant, the Applicant must, if requested by Hobart Hurricanes Foundation, cooperate with Hobart Hurricanes Foundation in relation to publicity initiatives regarding the Program.
Any personal information that is submitted via this application form is collected by Hobart Hurricanes Foundation for the purpose of considering applications for grants and administering the Program. The information collected may be disclosed to Members of Hobart Hurricanes Foundation and other official Program partners for this purpose but will otherwise be used and stored in accordance with the Hobart Hurricanes privacy policy located here.
Hobart Hurricanes Foundation and CADBURY and their respective officers, employees and contractors accept no responsibility for any decision or action taken in relation to the allocation of the Grants.
In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions, the Guidelines and the application form, these terms and conditions prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
Hobart Hurricanes Foundation reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at its discretion. Hobart Hurricanes Foundation may also cancel or suspend this CADBURY A Catch and a Half program if an event beyond the control of Hobart Hurricanes Foundation corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this program. Hobart Hurricanes Foundation will reject any application that is inconsistent with these terms and conditions or from an applicant who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this program.
Hobart Hurricanes Foundation and CADBURY reserves the right to determine the allocation and amounts of donations to be distributed, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this document.
